Hello and welcome. I love helping others — family, friends, strangers, stray animals… I know it sounds corny, but I get a real rush out of it.
Here’s the Reader’s Digest version of me: happily married with two really great kids and two usually good cats, a military brat who has lived in New York longer than anywhere else in the world (though I consider Texas the closest thing to home), owner of a marketing and design firm, musician, petite (okay, short — my teenage daughter has been borrowing my clothes since she was 11) and an amputee since I was 15 (the final solution to a congenital defect). Each of these attributes is just a part of who I am. No one label defines me, but each is fair game for my blog.
